To The Moon!

Today's DIY is a personification of a very dear friend and sister - Chanda , who recently tied a nuptial knot. The literal meaning of Chanda is " the moon ", hence I made this customized wall clock specially for her. I wrote down the last para of the poem - 'To The Moon" by Percy Bysshe Shelley on it and presented it on her Bachelorette Night! Thou chosen sister of the Spirit,       That gazes on thee till in thee it pities ... Although, 'To The Moon' is a romantic poem, yet so lonely type of poem, however I have completely different interpretation for Chanda . Yet again another pinspired post...this proves that I'm officially addicted to Pinterest. Pinterest Vs Reality SUPPLIES: 1. Beads  2. Thread & Needle 3. Chain INSTRUCTIONS: Step#1:  I beaded 3 pairs of strings, these bead (potey in Nepali) is easily available at Indrachowk, New Road. Step#2: I simply braided the 3 pairs of strings. Here are a few last minute - simple centerpiece ideas for your home decor or  parties . 1. Coffee Beans and Candles: Coffee Beans and Candle Centerpiece SUPPLIES: - Coffee Beans  - Floating Candles  - Glass   I filled the glasses with coffee beans and put the candle  inside it. I used the Nescafe coffee jar and you can also use scented candles if you like.  The  warmth of the  candles  will heat up the  coffee beans  and fill the room with  aroma of the coffee . Up Birthday Theme!

On my hubby's 30th Birthday, I wanted to do something very special for him, as he's going out of country a year mission and I'm gonna miss a lot of special occasions with him. For the start, I made the personalized  invite via Picmonkey  for my hubby's 30th Birthday. BTW, his nickname is Chakku.;) Chakku's 30th Birthday  I wished him HAPPY BIRTHDAY at midnight and gifted him photograph of our wedding day so that he can have our BIG DAY memory by his side, no matter how far we are from each other! I bought the Nepali kagaj photo frame from Mahaguthi who sells best handicraft items in Nepal.
