Saving Mr. Pots

Saving Mr. Pots - I meant 'Money Pot' (Khutruke 'खुत्रुके' in Nepali), the regular Khutruke is very simple, so you can follow the same instruction from DIY: Design Your Own Flowerpot to give new look to your money pot. Nowadays, we can also find Ganesha (गणेश) shaped Khutruke money pot and by painting it, we can give a life to it!

Design#1: Hand Painted Blue Ganesha Money Pot (Khutruke)
  • This one is simply painted in blue.

Design#2: Hand Painted Yellow Ganesha Money Pot (Khutruke)
  • This one is extravagantly painted and has detailed work - body in yellow and Mukut(headgear)in metallic blue with rhinestones.
  • I have also painted "Om" (ॐ)and "Swastika" (卐)  as these symbols signifies peace, prosperity and wealth.
  • The pink roses are fabric cut outs patched on the belly of Ganesha - decorated with découpage technique.
