How to organize a Bachelorette Party?

It's a wedding season in Nepal, and our very closed friend Chandu recently got hitched. To honor her, we threw Bachelorette Party. Here's the simple tricks and tips to organize it.

1. Photo Booth:

For photo booth, we made the photo backdrops out of silver paper plates, tape it carefully so that it overlaps and get the scallop effect.

2. Photo Props:

Please see here for the photo props tutorial.

3. Dress Code:

The color coordinating is a fun part for the Bachelorette Night, we made bride-to-be wear a great number in pink and rest of the girls (bridesmaids) wore black dress.

4. Bride-to-be Sash:

Obviously to honor Bride-To-Be the sash is must. As these kind of party props are not available in Nepal, I made it out and it was pretty easy. I took the satin cloth, cut in the regular sash size and wrote "Bride-To-Be" in pink, with lil bit of glitz.

5. Games:

Games, games, fun games are the key to successful parties. So, here's the interesting games which played for the night.
  • Pick Your Hero!
For this game, I collected all the pictures of my girlfriends' husband, husband-to-be, boyfriend, fiancé or crush. Then, stuck their heads to the pictures of the men wearing tuxedos and kept it inside the envelope. So, here's how this game works - first shuffle it and distribute among the players like you are playing cards. You might or not get your "heroes" picture - the chances are very slim! But, fret not, you can always rescue your Prince by bidding - and for this, the player whoever has your hero's card auctions it and will sale it upon receiving the highest bid. Lucky-is-the-one, who gets "Groom-To-Be" card as the bidder has to start bidding in the double price and obviously, have the highest bid than the rest of the players! ;)

  • Guess, whose line is it anyway?
To test, how well your bride-to-be knows her bridesmaids, make all your bridesmaids to write a wish or dream on a piece of paper and then, the bride has to guess who wrote it! We had heck of a laugh while playing this game and came to know about – the weirdest and dirtiest desires of each other! Lol

6. Vodka - Gummy Bears:

I soaked the gummy bears with vodka for a night and next day it turned out to be jello shot treats. It was hit of the night!

8. Take Before & After Picture of the Bachelorette Night:

Make sure to take before and after picture of the epic night. To start off, we all took a mugshot of "Before the Chandu's Bachelorette Night" and the next morning "After the Chandu's Bachelorette Night" picture.

9. Mehendi & Gajras:

For the next day, we had "Mehendi"(Henna)function and put on simple henna designs and made "Gajra" ourselves! We did pretty darn job! Yay!

10. The Performer & The Performance:

Of course, we saved the best for last - that was our special performance for the Bride-To-Be. For her, we danced in Bollywood number "Jhalla Wallah".

And, it was quite a performance (as you can see)!
